Hey yall, so every year I see new freshie makers or crafters in general stressing about the company's turn around time and that they won't get their molds ,cardstock, aroma beads ect in time. So let's talk about when you should be buying your crafting supplies.
July to early August, you should be getting your fall items ready for shows and your freshie customers. This is also when companies will start putting out fall theme items.
late August to October should be your christmas theme items.
November to December, we will see some new years an valentines items so you can be ready for those occasions.
Once January hits its time for slow down, everyone will be coming off the Christmas festivities and will need a moment to catch back up. So take this time to prep for spring time an think of ways to promote spring freshies and what can be different this year. Take January to reflect a slow down and get those Valentine's freshies out since you already got your molds two months ago.
Once we are out of January, we start spring and St. paticks day, so get those molds now.
March through April should be your summer prep if you do freshies during the summer. Some freshie makers choose to take this time off and sell other things until the fall comes back around due to melting freshies or other factors.
may- july, we are in a weird in-between. Some people want to fall already, and some are still doing summer. but this is where planning ahead comes into place like I mentioned before.
Always be ahead of the holidays, so you're not getting stuck in the line of holiday sales.
I hope this helped some. I have been doing freshies since 2019, I see this every year, so why not plan ahead and be ready.
